Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency (digital money) published in 2008, conceived by an entity known under the pseudonym “Satoshi Nakamoto”, whose exact identity is unknown. It is based on blockchain technology, which is a decentralized infrastructure with “Nodes” (PC’s) around the world, which makes this technology transparent and highly secure.
It is without intermediaries, banks or government entities, with a system based on “Peer to Peer” or person to person where “A” can make international payments at a much lower cost than what is currently in the world of finance by sending Bitcoin to “B” from a cryptocurrency wallet.
The most valuable point to invest in Bitcoin is that it is scarce, programmed only for 21,000,000 BTC to exist. Over the years to date, more than 2,560,000 BTC have been lost according to data from the company Chainalysis:
Reasons to invest in Bitcoin
·Scarce, without infinite inflation (more than 2,560,000 BTC currently lost, with a maximum extraction of 21,000,000 BTC)
·Model similar to gold in digital version
·The currency with the most decentralized and secure blockchain
·The only cryptocurrency as the official currency of a country (El Salvador)
·The most popular and reliable for expert investors as well as for beginners
We know that Bitcoin, due to its scarcity, depends on its price and does not generate passive income, but in a bubble economy like the US stock market, it is better to have reserves of value and scarce assets with great value such as Bitcoin and gold.
